Bill volunteers as a tour guide and prayer-partner every Tuesday, and on other days when a tour guide is needed.
Bill is a native of New Orleans. Bill’s family history goes all the way back to the 1850s and 60s when St. Mary’s was being built, and when Blessed Seelos was the Rector of St. Mary’s Assumption Church. Many visitors who lived in the Irish Channel in the 1940s and 50s remember Miss Annie at Bill’s family’s religious store on the corner of Constance and Josephine Streets, it was in business from 1855 to 1957. When Bill is not at the Seelos Center, he is a college professor teaching management courses, and at home cooking lunches for the Tuesday Seelos lunch-bunch.
